Breakfast was great! Real scrambled eggs (not the hockey pucks you get at most hotels these days), nice sausage links or patties, delicious potatoes. Nice selection of yogurt, cereal, bagels, muffins...and the ever-popular make-your-own waffles. Everything in the hotel was spotlessly clean. Lots of extra towels (which is good since housekeeping is "on request" - the way most hotels have gone nowadays with lack of staffing). Nice fridge, microwave, desk & sofa. Bed was very comfortable, a real thermostat for heat/cool.

Breakfast was great (fresh eggs, potatoes and peppers and peppers the day we stayed). Dog firendly ($25 fee). Bike path next to the hotel made it convenient to walk our dog. The beds were super comfortable. USB ports for phone charging. Coffee maker (not a stupid Keurig Thank You!!!!), small microwave and a decent mini fridge. Windows open for fresh air. Air conditioner was not super loud. Lighting was decent

I was in a bind after reserving a room in Castle Rock. That room did not have a working AC (it was 100 that day) I was told basically "Tough Luck!" Leave now or I was forced to pay for both days. I booked the room in the Highlands online that evening and it was a wonderful experience at that location. Kudos to them. The Castle Rock room/hotel was a terrible experience.

+ The breakfast was fine. However, when we checked in, the clerk said there was a $50 charge for contingencies, which would be refunded when we checked out. When we checked out, we were charged another $50, not refunded. Because of this additional $100, neither me nor my very extended family will ever stay at this company again.

After reading the reviews I was wondering what I was going to get, but I was very happy with this stay. The room was clean and comfortable. Breakfast was very good and varied. Close by E-470 and I-25. Plenty of food options nearby. I ended up having to extend my stay for another day and it was no problem.
